So I have decided that I want a small fridge for Christmas, but with all my reivew I have read in our price range most complain about not staying cool enough, but I also know that online reviews tend to stear towards the negative cause you are more likely to post the bad then the good. So does anyone have one that they got that they love. raning in price from $150 to $200? I can't wait to be able to store drinks and chip dip in my basement since that is where we spend the majority of our nights!!

What can I do next?

It's a little more than you want to spend, but we have had this 4.4 cu fridge for over five years. My husband is a home brewer and he uses it for beer making, I use it as an extra fridge on occasion. We have never had any issues with it and it works great. It's also outside on our covered back porch, so it's even held up against the elements.

I had the white, older version of this one as a teacher in my classroom. It held up for six years before it died. It was moved from my class to the house during summers and some holidays, it may have lasted longer if it wasn't carted all over town. Fridge was good, the freezer section was pretty useless.

I'd go used in that case, and be sure that they let you check it out and see it before purchasing. Local Files, Craigslist. My fav's

Craigslist was the first thought that came to my mind. My sister and BIL bought a very nice full size fridge off of Craigslist a few years ago and it's still going strong.

I'm guessing your talking about a mini fridge right?

We bought this one over the summer so we could use it camping. I love that it has a separate freezer. We were actually able to keep things frozen up north, since we were there for a week...this made it nice.

We also used it over the summer for our daughters outdoor birthday party and were able to store the ice cream in the freezer and drinks in the fridge. Obviously you may not need the freezer, but I just love the fact the freezer is an option to use for ours.

Sorry, I don't have a specific model to recommend, but I thought I'd add that some small refrigerators use as much electricity as the full size ones. So you may not be saving much money in the long run if you go with small vs large. Be sure to check the energy star rating. Good luck!
