Dear C.. I am an early childhood music and movement educator. I teach at various local preschools and mother's day out programs. I started my home based business by taking a 5 month online training course for $400 offered by Kindermusik International. Then, after graduating the training program and receiving my Kindermusik license, I started offering summer camps. Although I offered these camps during the week at local recreation centers and churches, I met several fellow educators who converted a garage or used a large room in their own home to teach classes. This is certainly the way to go if you have young children and cannot leave your home. It will also save you money on overhead.
