Where besides Craigslist can I post an ad for a job opening? I looked into careerbuilder but it was way too expensive. Does anybody know of another website that is free or reasonably priced. Thanks in advance.

What can I do next?

The Texas Workforce is the state website and free. Everyone that files for unemployment will register there and you'll have access to tons of qualified applicants. http://www.workintexas.com

You will need to set up an id, but once you do that, there is an employment section where you can post. It is free as well and a great resource for the Frisco/Collin County area.

Good Luck!

What kind of job is it? I have friends looking for work and if it is data entry/computer/website work that I could do part time, I would also be very interested!

Thanks,
E.

You can post them for free on Myspace. My dad posted an ad on their and hired a mechanic with in the week.

Hi, C....
I think here was a great place... :) to give a hint too!
I have recently been job discontinued and looking for a new career or job with my experience. Would love to send you my resume if it is a job with benefits.

Best of luck with the search and looks like you already have some great advice. Not sure your location but in Irving there is the Irving Rambler paper or you may even reach out to different church locations. With this economy they may have job posting boards.

A. Please let me know if you would like my resume :)

Try the newspaper. They have online jobs as well as print. I used the Plano Star Courier when I was looking.

Two local Christian radio stations have free listings for job openings. They are www.klty.com and www.kcbi.org.

check with your local Chamber of Commerce - many will post ads for free or cheap on their website (sometimes it depends on whether you are a member).
