C., this may sound shocking because everyone thinks Tony's Meat Market is so expensive, but buying bundled meat is actually cheaper than going to the store or costco every time you need meat. I have been buying their bundled special which runs me about $89.99 or $99.99. The meat will last my family about 9 dinners! Most are already marinated, so I don't have to worry about trying to figure out what to do for dinner. The meat is fresh and they're organic. For produce, I go to Sunflower market in Highlands Ranch and can get organic fruit and vegetables for $30 that last about a week. We've been eating great and healthy for so much less. My husband is loving it, I can't remember the last time we've gone out to dinner. Good Luck!

We don't buy a ton of organic food for the same reason, but I have found that Sunflower Farmer's Market has prices that seem much more reasonable to me than other places.

Based upon the advice on a Mamasource thread, we started getting weekly deliveries of organic fruits and veggies from Door-to-Door Organics a month ago. The food's been fantastic and, I think, extremely reasonable. They are very flexible...you can order once, every other week, weekly and there are 4 sizes. They deliver to your door with no delivery charge and you can get all fruit, all veggies or a mix of both. If there's something you don't like, just go online and substitute for something you do. We are eating so much healthier as a result(even the dog!) and love everything about the service.

Expecting my stuff in a few hours...woo hoo!

Hi C.,
Yeah! Farmers Markets are just around the corner! June 13 is the first one at Lone Tree.

I have stocked up on organic meats when KS puts them on sale(because it's close to expiration). A roaster chicken is usually $14, but I have picked the up for $7, buy a few and freeze them.

As far as fruits and veggies, have your tried Sunflower Market or Sprouts located on Parker Road in Parker?
