OB Office in the North Metro

I am looking for a new OB office in the North Metro (Maple Grove/Brooklyn Park area). My current office is downtown and with having a 1 year old and the fact that they like to frequently cancel or change appointments, I need something more convenient! Any suggestions? I delivered at Abbott with my first child and LOVED the hospital so I would prefer to deliver there, but I am open to going somewhere else as long as I have excellent care :).

What can I do next?

I also go to Oakdale OB/gyn. I had a great experience with all the doctors and CNP's there -- I primarily go to the Brooklyn Park clinic near highway 252 and 85th. I delivered at North Memorial and had a great experience -- the delivery nurse was terrific in coaching my husband and I through my somewhat abnormal delivery (my little guy pointed himself mouth out rather than crown). I really appreciate that they prepped me for an emergency c-section, but allowed me to try to go the traditional route.

I see Dr. Leafblad at Oakdale OB/Gyn and LOVE him!!! I have heard good things about the other doctors, too. They have several offices around the NW Metro area.

I go to Obgyn and Infertility. They have several locations, West Health building on 55 and 494, Edina off France, and Robbinsdale in the Oakdale building across from North Memorial. I see Dr Czernicki and think he is great! My sister also goes to this office and sees Jennifer Arnholdt. The staff there is fabulous. I have three kids and have been going there since I turned 16 for all my GYN needs, and I do not even have to tell them my name when I call, they know me even though I only go in once a year for Paps. And my kids are 10, 4, and 3. I have never had to wait for more than 5 minutes in the waiting room, They only changed one appointment on me over the years because my Dr was in a delivery, but they fit me in the very next morning. My sister is going there regularly to try to get pregnant. She had leukemia, and needs hormone replacement therapy to help her ovulate and keep her progesterone high enough to carry the baby once she does get pregnant. She will need to go in Next wed for her insemination, and coincidentally that is when my yearly exam is so the scheduler is working it out so that I can watch her 6 year old while she is in for her appointment and vise versa. They are awesome!

I love oakdale OBGYN. I have seen all the OBs in the office and can't complain. I like Dr Shannon Harris the most. They have offices in Robbinsdale, Brooklyn park, Maple Grove, and Plymouth. They do work out of North Memorial and the new hospital in Maple grove (when it opens). If you like women OBs the office is mostly women. Also Dr Wilcox was voted one of the "top DR" in the Mpls/St Paul mag.
Good luck

I see Dr. Barbara Toppin at Adefris and Toppin in Woodbury, MN. They are located right in Woodwinds Hospital. That's who/where I delivered my son. They were FANTASTIC!! I highly recommend them!!!
