My brother just used Home Depot and love them and no one could beat their price.

DO NOT go to home depot. We went there for carpet install and it was such a rip off. They quoted us a price that sounded reasonable then when they actually came out to measure (which you have to pay for) the price almost doubled. it was outrageous. When we tried to complain they said they can't do anything about it because they use independent contractors that state their own price. We did not go with home depot and in fact will never go their for service installation. We ended up using a private guy that my husband knows. He is checking on the number. If you are interested you can email me. good luck.

Hi G.
My husband installs carpet and beats out all the stores because he doesn't have the markup that they do.

Give him a call. His name is Steve ###-###-####

I saw this weekend on the little coupon books that I get at home a place where they would install berber carpet to the whole livingroom and hall way for about $345 or $375 I am not sure. There was another place were if you bought the material in their place installation was free expiration date 10/31/07. I am at work so I would have to look for that at home. email me if you are interested.
