I Would like to Meet Other SAHM

I wrote asking the same thing and went on all of those websites and if you have the money go for it. I also am not big on the idea that they have to "accept" you before you can join. A really good place is Baby Bungalow on Fri. they have free play time from 10:30 am to 12pm. It's a very clean place and not one of those places you have to run around after your kid the whole time. Everyone that works there is really friendly too. Since you have a 3 month old I know they have a bunch of sign language, music, and just mommy classes that are very reasonbly priced. Yani, you need to join the local MOPS, Mothers of Preschoolers. There's a group that meets at the Temple Terrace Baptist Church on 56th Street, not far from Corpus Christi Catholic church. You will meet lots of moms and I'm sure there will be a few who could be great friends. They provide childcare and many playdate opportunities. Look them up on Google. they have a meeting tomorrow at 7pm if you want to go. You can bring the kids.

Some websites to check out are cafemom.com (search local groups), meetup.com, yahoo.com has groups too, matchingmoms.com

Also, check out local indoor play places in your area and some of them have established playgroups that meet weekly at those places too :)
