I also just moved here. My Primary Care refered me to the Atlanta Womens Specialists on Johnson Ferry. I think my Drs name was Sanford. He listened and answered all of my needs. They seemed very good.

I would highly recommend Atlanta Womens Specialists, Dr. Jeffrey Marcus.
He is a great Dr. and specializes in high risk pregnancy/obstetrics. He is highly knowledgeable and gives you plenty of time to get all your questions or concerns answered at each appt.
He was the Chief of Obstetrics at Northside Hospital a few years ago (may still be).
He has appeared on several Discovery Channel type shows delivering high risk babies, conjoined twins, etc... Super caring.
I used them for the birth of all 3 of my (not high risk, c-section) kids.

###-###-####. Located in East Cobb, Marietta at Woodlawn and Johnson Ferry Rd. Good luck.
Here is the link to his Northside Hospital profile:

M.,
If you are looking for a physician who actually sits with the patient, listens and responds to their physical and emotional well-being, then I encourage you to look at
Dr. Gary L. Smith, OB/GYN. His office is in East Cobb, Johnson Square, Suite 145 right behind the new Target.
Although insurance companies dictate who we usually see, so you will need to verify your coverage with this practice. You will not be "herded through" like an assembly line with your appointment. Good luck and remember you manage your visit to any doctor. Prepare for your visit with writing out your concerns and questions. If your physician is too busy to address your concerns, then do not give them repeat business, but do let them know why you are leaving. We need to be more proactive in the patient field so the businesses that do care will take notice. Sincerely, M.

I recommend the doctors at Marietta OBGYN Associates. They are the next driveway past Kennestone Hosp. in Marietta. The have other locations as well.
Check them out on their website: mariettaobgyn.com
My sister sees Dr Tagechian and I see Dr Bauer.

Hope this helps!

Hi M.,

I highly recommend my OB/GYN. She is not too far from your area if you're willing to travel a little. Her name is Dr. Anissa Durairaj and she is with the Atlanta Women's Health Group and she's affiliated with Northside. Her office is off P'tree Dunwoody (5780 P'tree Dunwoody Rd) and the number is ###-###-####. I've been going to her for almost two years and love her. She has a great personality, is very knowledgeable and I normally don't wait too long to see her.
