Hello my helpful mama friends,
I am in serious need of a homeschool blog. Not that the moms here can't and haven't helped me, I think my questions are more suited for a different kind of forum, not necessarliy a mama blog.
Are any of you wonderful homeschooling families members of a good blog where I can discuss styles, curriculums, books, etc.?
Thanks so much again.

I have Googled them and I am just so overwhelmed with the sheer number of them, so I came here to ask those that might know. :o)

So What Happened?

OK so I have spent the last 3 hours registering for homeschool sites and then perusing them. Good thing we only did a Geography game this afternoon. Thank you ladies so much, you have been most helpful. .

this homeschooling mom I think is part of a co-op and they have won numerous awards and have tons of ideas. She has forum resources I believe with links on her blog, she has lesson plans, printables, tips...;

I get a lot of great info off of www.homeschoolcreations.com
The woman who runs it has a thousand creative ideas and free printouts for all ages. It's a great supplement to any curriculum.
She also has another homeschooling blog that may be something you would be interested in. Also, there are other homeschooling blogs featured on her site.

Good luck!

Hi Margie,

I don't know what your homeschool angle is, however, my sister has been homeschooling her three boys for the last 4 years or so. Her home school blog is Grace All Over It

http://gracealloverit.blogspot.com/

FYI-- she ses the Classical Conversations curriculum as well as a variety of other sources. Her other site, A Thousand Words, also has a large blogroll of related sites. If this isn't attractive to you, there are probably tons of other resources. I've gotta say, though, I've been extremely impressed with both her organization and thoughts around teaching (she and I can talk for literally hours about this) and my nephews are bright, intelligent kids which I genuinely like. And I'm not just saying that because we're related!:)
